CALL SHEET POETRY

The show I was working on ended this weekend, but I thought I would share my favorite line from one of the last call sheets (6pt was our target of opportunity* for quite a few days in a row)…

Reminds me of one of Miranda July’s titles… NO ONE BELONGS HERE MORE THAN YOU. ME AND YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW. THINGS WE DON’T UNDERSTAND AND DEFINITELY ARE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT. I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT SHEARS AND CURTAINS WE NEED BY NOW.

Beautiful.

* A target of opportunity is a scene or shot that’s either been missed earlier, needs to be re-shot, or is something from the next day’s call sheet. It’s generally hoped-for, but is less of a priority than all the other scheduled scenes/shots for that day.
